Research Data Collection

“Research Data Collection” of a research company is an important foundational part of any research work and is the place that ensures accurate and high-quality research results.

At the data collection stage, in accordance with the research plan, high-quality primary data is collected through reliable and appropriate methodologies and prepared for processing.

Research Data Collection Methods

During the research data collection process, the following activities are carried out: Data Collection – Collecting primary data through customer surveys, interviews, observation, and other methods. Quality Control – Checking and monitoring the accuracy and completeness of the collected data. Research Ethics – Following the international ESOMAR research ethics standards and protecting the privacy of participants. Presentation – Presenting the initial results and progress report of the collected data to the research team. Like modern research companies, we have been making the data collection process faster and more efficient by using technological advances. The main data collection methods of our company:

This is a method in which a researcher interviews the participant face-to-face using a tablet and enters the responses directly into the system.

  • Since each response is entered directly into the system, there are fewer errors
  • It is possible to collect images, videos, and location data
  • Research monitoring is good

This is a method in which the researcher speaks by phone and collects information by entering the responses into a computer program.

  • It is possible to conduct research on a broad scale in a short period of time
  • It has centralized supervision and good quality control
  • The research is conducted according to a single standard

This is a method in which the research is conducted online, and participants take part in the survey themselves in an online format.

  • Can be conducted very quickly
  • Not dependent on geographic location
  • Easy to analyze
  • Possible to include design and multimedia elements

This is a method in which research participants are gathered at a specific central location (for example: a shopping center or research organization), and research is conducted through testing, product trials, and video viewing.

  • It is possible to conduct testing in a controlled environment
  • It is possible to observe participants’ reactions and behavior
  • An optimal research method for product testing, taste and scent evaluation, and design assessment

This is a method of conducting a group discussion consisting of 6–10 people. It is a qualitative research method guided and moderated by a moderator.

  • It is possible to identify in-depth understanding, attitudes, and impressions
  • It is possible to generate new ideas through the exchange of opinions among participants
  • Suitable for studying brand and product perceptions and expectations

This is a qualitative research method in which an in-depth one-on-one interview is conducted with a single person.

  • It is possible to study an individual’s internal motivations and views in depth
  • Suitable for research on confidential and sensitive topics
  • Flexible, and allows the interview to be conducted in greater depth

Telephone Survey Center

A unit where specialized researchers collect information by phone based on survey software.

We conduct nationwide research regardless of location by using the CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interview) method in our data collection work.

  • Fast and efficient – Able to reach many people in a short time. Our survey center can have 10–20 researchers making calls simultaneously.
  • Strong quality control – It is possible to fully monitor the researcher’s work and the completeness of responses
  • Not dependent on location – It is possible to conduct surveys by contacting even citizens in remote areas by phone.
  • Standardized environment – Since all researchers work with the same software and the same instructions, the probability of research errors is low.
